Privacy policy

SCOUT

SCOUT says: I keep watch over your data. Short version: no ad trackers, no tracking cookies, and we never sell anything. If you book a call, we get what you type into the booking form and use it to run that call.

01Who we are

8-Bit Agency (“we”, “us”) builds AI agents for insurance agencies. This policy covers 8bitagency.ai and booking an intro call with us.

It doesn’t cover the AI agents we build for clients. How those handle data is set out in each client agreement.

02What we collect

  • Booking details. When you book a call through Cal.com, you give us your name, email address and anything you write in the booking form. Cal.com also records your time zone so the invite lands at the right hour.
  • Basic technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes things like your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. That’s how the site gets delivered and protected from abuse.
  • Two settings on your device. Your browser remembers whether sound is on and whether you’ve already seen the intro animation. Neither one ever leaves your device.

We don’t use analytics cookies, ad trackers or fingerprinting, and the fonts are served from our own domain.

03How we use it

  • To schedule and hold the call you booked.
  • To reply to you, and to follow up on the conversation you started.
  • To keep the site running and secure.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone for advertising.

04Who helps us

A few service providers process data on our behalf, only to do their job:

  • Cloudflare hosts and protects this site.
  • Cal.com runs the booking calendar.
  • Google provides the calendar invite and Google Meet link for the call.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to a successor if 8-Bit Agency is ever merged or acquired. This policy would still apply to it.

05How long we keep it

We keep booking details as long as we need them for the conversation and any work that follows. When they’re no longer needed, we delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

Cloudflare keeps technical logs according to its own retention schedule.

06Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email hello@8bitagency.ai and a human will handle it.

Depending on where you live, for example California, the EU or the UK, the law may give you more rights. We honor these requests wherever you are.

07Kids

This site is for businesses. It isn’t meant for anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

08Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top. Big changes get a clear note on the site.
